Just discovred iJustine

I am pretty familiar with the internet but am really not into the twitter scene and blogging is fairly new to me..and I just discovered iJustine, and I have to say it's pretty depressing to see someone who has actually marketed herself and what she does so well at her age..only one year older than me. She's having so much fun and doing things I really wanted to do..=( But..I'm very interested in her, and her stories..she's great.

Uhhhh...More wedding problems?

I had a feeling the other day, a woman's intuition you could say, so I decided to give my church a call. When I asked them to confirm the wedding date that they had us scheduled for, they said the 26th of September, not the 19th that we have been scheduling all the vendors for..I was mortified. I called my photographer and my wedding reception venue to no avail, the reception site it booked for the 26th. I'm now trying to find a priest whose sermons we like so that we can check on his availability to marry us at our church because the father who was scheduled to marry us will be on a pilgrimage..::sigh:: talk about worst case scenario. But I'm blessed that I thought to call now instead of assuming everything was in place and then scheduling the rehearsal time for the day before the wedding only to get the response "But aren't you getting married next week?" David and I will press on and try and sort this all out.

Frustration with soon-to-be-family-members

Don't you wish you could hand pick parts of your family? David's great, but he's a package deal and there's no BK "have it your way!" For this reason, I'm eternally thankful that we have our own house and that there's a huge gate around it! If I could get armed guard to keep certain people away. Anyhow...just glad that it's a Friday and even happier to have things checked off the wedding to-do list.

My mind is racing!

There's a lot to do for the wedding, I just checked out the rate for the hotel for my brother's wedding in May at it's $119/night..I think I'm going to have to stay in L.A. in 2 nights before and transfer to the nice hotel the night of the wedding.

I feel like I don't really get much chance to hang out with him lately what with my 2 jobs and his 3 or..4..I dunno, it's been crazy. I'm glad that we have a little bit of time at the end of the night to discuss the going-ons and to talk about the future (I love that topic). We're just working on ideas for the house..woo hoo!

Stressed Out

I'm really excited witht he way that things have been going in 2009, but I'm stressed out that it won't last for long. I want to have a great 365 days, but..I dunno..::knocking on wood::






Buying a house this year has been absolutely amazing..and jaw dropping, but I need to just settle down and hope for the best to continue. Getting married in September seemed like the best idea because it was so far away from when David proposed, but as I think more and more about it, everything is inevitable, and I'll soon have to sit down and start some serious planning ::sign:: ...not just the good stuff, but the workout stuff too.

Working...

Doing the repetitive stuff right now..I’m holding off on any of the work that requires actual brain function until later..I don’t think I would be able to handle that right now. I just found out that I won Jerry Frazier’s Free Wedding Photography Contest for 2008! David and I are stoked because that was the 2nd most expensive piece after the catering..
Things are looking really good in 2009!
